Gday folks,

Been a while since last newsletter!

I have just returned from a 10 day Australian Heli Safari – from Cairns to the top of Queensland at Haggerstone Island, over the Gulf to Pungalina Station in Northern Territory, across to the Lost City near Cape Crawford, quick side trip for lunch at Daly Waters pub – low flying up the Roper River, Mataranka and into Katherine for more fuel – (want more? ) , then stunning locations in Katherine Gorge before heading west to visit rock art sites with Bill Harney. A spectacular flight up Victoria River gorge, a few days with Marlee and Franz at Bullo River , cross country back to Darwin for the evening. Next day it was out to Bamarru for two nights and an afternoon flying from Bamarru to Kakadu and Arnhemland ( where we landed at a remote waterfall for a swim and sundowners.)

This is the third trip Stu andTeresa from London have done with me in the past twelve years …and they came back for more!

This trip was during the Wettest year on record – and we managed to go everywhere we planned. Hats off to an amazing pilot and machine!

I can’t begin to describe the scenery and isolated locations we visited – nor the characters and critters we met along the way…. So I’ll attach some photos for you to look at.

2011 is looking great – and it seems most of the trips now are repeat guests or referrals. I have launched a new brand ‘Wild by Nature’ with a dedicated focus on wildlife in Northern Australia and natural habitats.

Should have a website for it shortly.

PS Picked up some awesome Eco Awards this year ! Take a look www.greentravelleaders.com.au

Stray well!!
